| | How long before my order is shipped?
All items are handmade in the USA, they are not mass produced. We take extra care when making your straps so we ask that you lease allow 6-8 business days before they are shipped. This does not include shipping time. Please allow the appropriate shipping time via the method you select. If you need your strap sooner, please consider rush service or our ready to ship section.

| | I need my order ASAP, what are my options?
You have a couple of options here. You can pick a strap from our "Ready to Ship" section or you can choose our Rush Service. Our Rush fee is 16.50 and that includes shipping. We will ship your order the next business day via priority mail. We also offer rush service via overnight mail. You can choose the Rush Service at checkout, it's listed as one of our shipping options. Rush service is for US customers ONLY.

| | What shipping methods do you use?
I ship via USPS First Class Mail with delivery confirmation. I also offer Priority Mail and FedEx. See our shipping prices Here

| | Do you ship international?
Yes, I do ship international. We offer International Economy (14-28 days) ore Express Mail (upt to 6 days). Transit times are in addition to our turn around time of 6-8 business days. PhatStraps is not responsible for VAT or Duty fees associated with international purchases.

| | What length should I get?
My straps are longer than your stock camera strap. I created my straps longer so they can be worn across your body instead of around your neck. This is optimal for those who suffer from neck and back pain. Wearing the camera across your body takes the stress off your neck and back and shoulders. There are still some photogs that want the short neck strap, so I offer the 30 inch for those of you who prefer that. You can view examples of the different lengths HERE

| | Are the quick release buckles safe?
Yes, they are made with a very strong Acetal plastic that locks together. Don't mistake quick release for easily released. YOu have to squeeze both sides together at the same time to release the buckle so there is no chance of it accidentally releasing. You can opt to omit the buckles if you choose. Please click HERE to see examples that will help you decide if quick release is right for you. The quick release straps attach to your camera the same way your current slr strap attaches, there is just a buckle halfway up the narrow nylon portion.

| | What is your return and exchange policy?
I offer a return and exchange policy for up to 30 days from purchase. All returns and exchanges will incur a 20% handling fee. All Refunds are also minus shipping charges. The item must be returned within 30 days of receipt in new unused condition and accompanied with your invoice and a note explaining reason for return. Returns and Exchanges will not be accepted for personalized or custom items. We do not accept returns or exchanges after 30 days from purchase. If you send us a return after that period, it will be refused.

| | Will your straps fit my camera?
The nylon portion that attaches to your camera is 1/2 inch wide. They fit most SLR/DSLR cameras made by Nikon, Canon, Pentax and Sony. Just to be sure, you can cut a piece of paper to 1/2 inch width and see if it fits through the slots of your camera. My straps also fit some of the larger point and shoot cameras but not all. This is ultimately YOUR responsibility.

| | Do you make custom straps?
I do accept requests for custom orders. Just contact us via email with your requests and we will get back to you with an answer as well as a price quote.

| | How are your strap lengths measured?
Please read About our Straps to answer most of your measurement questions. Keep in mind, my straps DO NOT adjust shorter than the length ordered.

| | My strap is too long, what can I do?
If you ordered a strap that is too long, you can return it and will will shorten it for you. We need you to include a check made out to PhatStraps for 4.95 to cover shipping the strap back to you. Please attach a copy of the invoice as well as instructions regarding how much you need us to take off. If you don't have a copy of the invoice, please include your name and address on the note with the instructions.

| | I changed my mind, can I cancel my order?
All orders are custom made to your requests. If work has begun on your order then orders cannot be cancelled or changed. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you. If we have not started work, then you may place a cancellation request.

| | I want to add my website or name to my strap, can I do this?
We do offer an embroidery option. You can find it under the "personalized" section from the menu on the left. We will soon be adding a page of embroidery examples, you can learn a lot from these examples. A couple of things to keep in mind. Black text on a black strap will not show up very well. A narrow font combined with a primary color on a busy pattern equals lost in the pattern and hard to read. At this time we only offer text embroidery in the fonts we offer. We hope to soon offer the option of having your logo put on your camera strap.

| | Can I get a dog collar in a pattern you have for camera straps and combine shipping?

| | Where's my order? It's been 8 days.
Please note our turn around time is 6-8 business days. Business days exclude weekends and holidays. You must also add the shipping time onto that.

| | I emailed you but haven't heard back from you, why?
99% of the time, it's because our email went to your junk mail folder or you have provided an invalid email address. When filling out the contact us form, double check your email address. Also be sure to check your junk mail folders. If you have a spam blocker, we will not go through the trouble of "getting approved" as one of your contacts, so keep that in mind as well.

| | Do you charge sales tax?
Yes, all Texas residents will be charged 8.25% sales tax.

| | What is Minky?
Minky is superior quality chenille fabric. It's uber soft and made with 100% polyester microfiber. It's most similar to fleece in terms of softness and thickness but oh so much better. We use the best quality available today. We don't use off brand minky on our products, only the best goes on our camera straps. You will be thrilled with it.

| | Can I wash my PhatStrap?
Yes, we recommend hand washing but you can machine was if you use a delicates bag or pillow case. Hang dry. You can iron the strap using any setting for cotton. Do not iron the Minky side if you have added that option.
